The Northeast Reign is committed to developing highly competitive softball teams with players that exemplify the meaning of selflessness and teamwork by:

Providing a healthy, productive and structured environment for players to learn and compete in the game of fast pitch softball

Mario Perrone

Head Coach - 18U & 14U

Coach Mario is the Director of the Northeast Reign and Head Coach of the 16U Team. He has in depth experience coaching and instructing softball and has coached tournament fastpitch softball since 2008 at every level including 18U Showcase. He is dedicated to teaching the fundamentals of softball to his players while creating a positive environment for them to attain their softball goals. Coach currently sits on the Board of Directors of the North Reading Youth Softball Recreation League where he has been a member for 13 years, holding several positions including President

Julia Perrone

Head Coach - 18U & 14U

Coach Julia is the Assistant Director of the Northeast Reign and Head Coach of the 14U Reign Navy Team. Julia has several years of experience as a tournament coach and an instructor in clinics and lessons, concentrating on the fundamentals of pitching and fielding. She strives to create a positive learning environment while the girls create life-long memories. Julia was a 4-year player for Stonehill College. She was a 4-year varsity player and captain for North Reading High School, where she was named League MVP and Boston Globe All-Scholastic in 2016. Julia played competitive tournament softball for 10 years from 10U through 18U Showcase.
